Your information

AKILI keeps your information in a secure online system, protected by encryption, and staff sign in with a password and a second security code. The servers are in the European Union, which has strong data protection laws. We use your information only to provide your care, manage appointments and payments, and meet our legal duties. You may ask to see or correct your information at any time.

Confidentiality

Everything you share with your AKILI therapist or coach is confidential. We share it outside AKILI only with your written consent, except where safety or the law requires it: (1) if there is a serious and immediate risk that you may harm yourself or someone else, we will act to keep people safe, which may include contacting your emergency contact or other appropriate people; (2) if we learn that a child is being harmed, we must act to protect the child; (3) if a court orders us to release information, we will tell you first wherever the law allows; (4) your clinician may discuss your care in confidential professional supervision, without your name.
